About Ice Fit
Ice Fit owner and former WHL player Coach Curtis Friesen has an incredible passion for the game of hockey and brings that passion and determination to every camp he runs.

Ice Fit delivers a comprehensive approach to player development that covers all facets of the game. Ice Fit camps offer on-ice and dryland training that will strengthen the key elements of a player’s game. A separate, specialized body checking camp is also available.

I have been going to Ice Fit for the past 3 summers and it has been nothing but good times and even better hockey training and workouts. Curtis has helped me with lots of the little things in hockey that some of my other coaches didn’t go over like little edge work tips and helping me get a better release on my shot. Curtis has a very good understanding of the game, and he will do what he can to help. The workouts he runs are also good; I like them because it’s not only weights but cardio and explosive drills as well. He makes sure to push me to my limits because he knows what I can do and wants the best out of me, which I really like. On the ice he runs good, but hard, drills that focus on a little bit of everything like skating, passing, shooting and battling drills with pressure.

Our son has attended Curtis's camp for 3 years. Without his training, he would not be where he is today. Back at tryouts, people could not believe the improvement and talent when watching him skate. This was all thanks to Curtis! Ice Fit camps will provide your player with unique teaching techniques where the players have a ton of fun while growing both on and off the ice. Everything is high paced and competitive yet the kids come out laughing and smiling every session. Curtis and his team highly motivate the kids and our son has never liked a coach more. If we had the option to be with Ice Fit year round, there wouldn't be a question of what we would do.
